Hebe — Carolus-Duran Art Mug, 15 oz
HEBE
Old Heaven Art Mug
Immortality is a lovely idea. A fresh cup will do for now.
Hebe arrives in pink, bringing a little Olympian grace to the less celebrated business of getting through the morning. Beauty has its uses. So does having something warm to hold while the world collects itself.
Give her a place beside your books, your flowers, or the correspondence that can survive another ten minutes unanswered.
For those who remain curious. Those beginning again. Those who understand that a small pleasure need not justify its existence.
Pair her with Hercules at Rest, or let her preside over the table herself.
OLD HEAVEN
A little heaven, while it’s hot.

Hebe, daughter of Zeus and Hera, is the Greek goddess of youth and cupbearer of the gods. In Hesiod’s Theogony and the Odyssey she becomes the wife of Heracles after he is made immortal and taken up to Olympus.
